Aims and Scope

The Journal of Life Sciences and Biomedicine (JLSB) publishes peer-reviewed articles of clinical and scientific interest in the fields of life sciences and biomedical research. We aim to present high-quality content with strong scientific impact through a rigorous double-blind peer-review and editorial process.

The journal welcomes a broad spectrum of manuscript types, including:

  • Original research articles

  • Review articles

  • Case reports

  • Letters to the Editor

  • Instructional manuals

Submission of Manuscripts

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through:

Important Notes:

  • Only one submission at a time is accepted.

  • Simultaneous submissions to other journals are strictly prohibited.

  • All figures and tables must be embedded within the manuscript (single file).

  • After submission, a Manuscript ID will be generated and sent via email.

  • All submissions must be in English and reviewed by a native speaker before submission.

Submission Fee: The journal does not charge any fees for online submission or publication.


Author Responsibilities

  1. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their work.

  2. One corresponding author must be designated to:

    • Handle all communication during submission, peer review, and publication.

    • Ensure accuracy of author names, affiliations, and contact information.

    • Secure necessary permissions and include all required declarations.

  3. Authors may suggest up to two qualified reviewers, including their name, affiliation, and email. Reviewer suggestions are welcome but not guaranteed for use.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose all actual or potential conflicts of interest, including financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence their research.


Funding Disclosure

Authors must clearly state any sources of financial support, including grants, sponsors, and institutional support related to the study, data collection, analysis, and publication.


Language and Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be in British or American English.

  • Use Times New Roman, size 11, 1.5 line spacing, with 2 cm margins on all sides.

  • Submit manuscripts as .doc/.docx files (no PDF).

  • Avoid using "justified text" or word processor-based text wrapping.

  • Use standard formatting tools for bold, italics, subscripts, etc.

  • Avoid graphical equations or tables—use text-based formatting only.

Length Guidelines:

  • Short communications: minimum 8 pages

  • Original/Review articles: 15–20+ pages


Manuscript Structure

Please organize your manuscript in the following order:

  1. Title (clear, concise, no abbreviations; each word capitalized)

  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s) (including full institutional address, ZIP code, and email of corresponding author)

  3. Abstract (150–250 words, max 300 for data-rich articles)

  4. Keywords (3–8 terms, from MeSH)

  5. Abbreviations (if applicable)

  6. Introduction (background, objectives, literature review)

  7. Materials and Methods (detailed for reproducibility; cite previous methods)

  8. Results (clear, concise; written in past tense)

  9. Discussion (interpret findings; can be combined with Results)

  10. Conclusion (key takeaways; avoid repetition of abstract)

  11. Declarations

    • Acknowledgements

    • Author Contributions

    • Consent to Publication

    • Conflict of Interest

    • Data Availability

  12. References (formatted according to [insert journal's reference style])

Additional Information

  • Ethics Approval: Required for research involving humans or animals.

  • Abbreviations: Use standard terminology; define all abbreviations upon first use.

  • Tables & Figures: Embed in-text with captions; also submit as separate files if requested post-review.


Publication Fee

The Journal of Life Sciences and Biomedicine does not charge authors any fees for submission, review, or publication.
