Abstract: The article presents the results of the research on waxed japanese wax scale, bio ecological features and economic significance of major pomegranate pests. It is noted that this pest has a sexual dimorphism, and that Chilocorus renipustulatus Scriba, Chilocorus bipustulatus L. predators though minor, but play a role in its biological control. Introduction of Scutellista cyanea and Microterys clauseni species, which are an effective entomophage of pests, to the republic are considered reasonable.
